After 17 years serving a church plant near King's Cross, Jeremy and his wife Dawn moved to Ponders End in the summer of 2024 to help relaunch St Matthew's. They've loved being back in North London, where Jeremy previously worked at Chase Farm Hospital and where they both trained for Christian ministry at Oak Hill College. They have two grown-up children, two cats, several coffee machines, and one double bass.

Jonathan is training for ministry and serves our church community with passion and dedication. He brings fresh energy and insight to our team, helping with worship, youth work, and community outreach. Jonathan is committed to learning and growing as he prepares for future ministry leadership.

Ini is training to serve as Church Warden and plays a vital role in the practical leadership and management of St Matthew's. He oversees the church's technology initiatives and AV setup, ensuring our services and events run smoothly. Ini is passionate about using his technical expertise to support the church's mission and ministry.

Kirstie ensures the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our community, especially children and vulnerable adults.

Davis Kyambadde has a deep love for the Word of God and its original context. He believes that understanding the "paths of righteousness" begins with a careful look at the beauty and integrity of the biblical text. Raised in an ecclesiastical household, he came to know the grace, forgiveness, and love of the Lord, and the reality of a personal relationship with Him. Davis finds joy in making the deep truths of Scripture both accessible and transformative. He is passionate about seeing lives restored through the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. For him, the Bible is not simply a book to be studied, but a living well of truth that reveals the grace of God. His love for Scripture flows from the conviction that, whether pastor, teacher, or congregant, we all stand equally in need of and equally transformed by that same grace. Shaped by the truth that "love is patient, love is kind" (1 Corinthians 13:4), he seeks to walk in a way that reflects what Scripture makes plain—that it is grace, not performance, that draws us, holds us, and makes us whole.
